The Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts

Whether you’re driving or flying into New York, Boston, Albany, or Hartford, you’ll find your way to Camp R2A!

For those unfamiliar with the region, and wanting the most efficient way to Camp R2A, our advice is to fly into NYC (Laguardia and JFK).  Then rent a car and we’ll see you in 3 hours.  With direct flights into NYC from just about anywhere (minus Kyrgyzstan), this will be a piece of cake.  Drive times from all surrounding airports:

  • Albany, New York – 1 hour, 15 minutes
  • Hartford, Connecticut – 2 hours
  • Laguardia, New York City – 2.5 hours
  • JFK, New York City – 3 hours
  • Logan Airport, Boston – 3 hours

For those wanting to spend more time in the Northeast, you might want to mix some city into your R2A experience, and tack on a night or two in NYC.  You can then rent a car up to Camp R2A or take a train (which puts you about 45 minutes from Camp R2A).  Just let us know if this will be your plan, and we’ll outline transportation options up to camp.

Our super secret location is a heavenly 1000 acres with a 100 acre lake, and it’s all ours.  Just off the Appalachian Trail, with some of the best hiking and trail running the Northeast has to offer.
